Tom is the “Son” in this team. Tom is now an established shooter in Kansas City with a wonderful studio in the River Market Area of downtown. In addition to our exquisite wedding business, Tom photographs tons of high school senior portraits all over the city. Jerry Schmidt is the ”Father” and with my wife Lisa we ran a studio in Warrensburg for nearly 25 years. The depth of experience is matched with my never ending drive to learn everything about the newest of the new in photography. Recently video has been an obsession and we hope to add that to our offerings in the near future. I have been a Professor of Photography at University of Central Missouri since 1981. Dang, I must be old. I have a great job teaching people photography, and when I go to the Missouri PPA conventions the rooms are full of UCM graduates.
We are members of WPPI an international organization of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. Each year we travel to Las Vegas for their anual convention to learn from the best photographers in the world. (TOUGH JOB)
